Founded by Chef Alia El Askalany in 2014, Lulu’s Kitchen started as a boutique cooking class experience. Today it is a fully fedged culinary consultancy frm ofering a wide range of services for both individuals and companies alike taking your F&B business to its full potential. From workshops to pop-up culinary experiences, recipe development and a range of ready-to-use products, Lulu’s Kitchen has grown to be the one-stop-shop crafting culinary solutions be it for your business or at home.

Chef Alia El Askalany
Alia El Askalany’s culinary journey is one of exploration and diversity, serendipity, and hard work. Fascinated by food since a very young age, Alia decided to pursue her passion by joining the prestigious Cordon Bleu School in London in 2014. Among others, she has made full use of her time in England by training at some of its most recognized eateries including Jamie Oliver’s Recipease, L’Atelier Des Chefs and Pip’s Dish. Since then, she has completed an intensive cooking program at the Florence Culinary Art School in Florence, Italy in 2017 and joined an agro-culinary program at the Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School in
2020, where she studied Sicilian cuisine with a focus on ethically sourced food.

More than an expert in the kitchen, Alia has experience working in the food and beverage industry, handling marketing, PR, and management for some of the region’s most recognized restaurants. Among others, Alia held key roles at Crave, Casper & Gambini’s, Scoops and Zeitouna Bistro.

A selection of carefully curated recipes can be found on Zest Platform, featuring Chef Alia, sharing her exclusive recipes using local products. To date, clients have included established local and international brands such as Juhayna, Cadbury, Dreem Desserts, Imtenan, Rotana Dairy, Lactalis Group and the World Food Programme.

3.4 Culinary Experiences
At Lulu’s Kitchen, bespoke culinary experiences are designed to be educational, inspirational and very much enjoyable; a celebration of good food and beautiful people, whatever the theme. The annual pop-up dinners series is an invitation to tour the world through dining events, each celebrating a culinary culture or in-season ingredients.
